2nd Meeting was a great success. I want to thank Al Flores for the use of the meeting room. Much was discussed and many positive solutions are coming together. We are
already working on getting Tejano Music To The Kids. A project is being established and execution is beginning. We are now accepting nominations for Board and Committee members.
If you have not made a meeting yet it is perfectly ok to come at any point and join the fabulous group of people that are going to make positive things happen here in Houston and abroad.

The Houston Tejano Music Coalition kicked off Saturday April 12, 2008
Thanks all who attended to the kickoff of the Coalition.
It was a great day for the future of Tejano here in Houston. Many of the Major players in gettting Tejano Music to the Houston Metro area and outlying areas were
in attendance including Jim Luna, Mikey Mike, Roy Meza, Dave Biondi, Jumpin Jess, Robert Dorantes.
Special thanks to Roy Ramos who drove from Dallas for this special event. And thanks to all the others who participated, to all of you my heart felt thanks.
Unity was definately felt in the room and I thank everyone for their great discussions and Ideas. We provided many solutions and the execution will begin next week.
We begin getting "Tejano Music to the Kids" next month at a High School. Come join us so you too can begin sharing our very rewarding mission.
Everyone is welcome, all that is required is that you have a passion for Tejano Music and want it to be around for our children and grandchildren.
The mission of the HTMC is simple "To bring Tejano Awareness , Education and our Culture to the forefront in Houston and beyond. The Vision is to focus on getting Tejano Music and Education to the Kids.
